Der Ligurische Höhenweg ist das Aushängeschild der Region für die Wanderer. Teilweise ist er aber auch ein absolutes Highlight für Mountainbiker, die auf diesem Teilstück oberhalb von Finale und Pietra Ligure auf dem Ligurischen Hauptkamm entlang fahren können.

Die Alta Via dei Monti Liguri ist ein 440 km langer Höhenweg für Wanderer, der entlang des Ligurischen Hauptkamms von Ventimiglia bis nach La Spezia verläuft. Einige Teile des Höhenweges sind durchaus auch für Mountainbiker geeignet. Diese großartige Rundtour führt von Finale Ligure hinauf auf den Bergkamm im Hinterland, wo der Ligurische Höhenweg verläuft. Von dem Colla di S. Giacomo über die Madonna della Neve, Colle del Melogno, auf dem das Forte Centrale steht bis zum Giogo di Gustenice befahren wir den Ligurischen Höhenweg. Unterhalb des Monte Carmo beginnt unsere gemäßigte Abfahrt hinunter nach Pietra Ligure und wieder zurück nach Finale Ligure. Diese Tour ist entgegen der in der Gegend von Finale Ligure üblichen Freeridestrecken auch für ganz normale Touren-Biker geeignet und verläuft voll und ganz auf Straßen, Berg- und Forstwegen.
