Usedom-Rundweg (Usedom Cycling Path)
The sunny island of Usedom is particulary facinating because of its charming contracts. While the 42 km long sandy beach is lined up with sophisticated Baltic resorts like white pearls, the hinterland delights with mysterious forests and quaint fishing villages. The contrast between beach and sea, nature and idyll promises a varied holiday experience.

In order to preserve the fantastic nature, the entire island was declared a nature park for a good reason. Forested hills, small lakes, mysterious moors and flowering rape fields characterise the varied landscape of the unspoilt hinterland. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find what you are looking for on the Lieper Winkel. This peninsula is home to more birds than people. Artistically decorated front doors inspire visitors in the old agricultural town of Usedom. And the sunny island also has a lot to offer culturally. Music festivals and cultural festivals like the Vineta Festival take place here in summer.
At the Zecheriner bascule bridge, the island is abandoned with a heavy heart. At the place where the river Peene flows into the confluence area Stettiner Haff, one feels like being transported back to childhood. It goes past cows dozing in the sun and storks stalking over the meadows. The frogs quack in dense reed belts and ducks quack. The church tower of Lassan promises a highlight in the lowlands.
