The versatile route runs partly inside the forest, partly in traditional countryside milieu and partly on challenging, rocky paths. There are many steep parts and the route is ascending and descending quite much - after all, you will cycle all the way up to Tahko hill.
The route is well marked and that gives you a chance to just concentrate on cycling. During the easier sections, you get to relax and enjoy the sceneries.
Along the route you will find several nice rest stops. First you will reach the Hiekkoniemen kota (3,5 km) by a lake. The next one, the atmospheric Rahasmäen laavu lean-to (7 km) is situated next to a beautiful pond that has been formed inside an old quarry. This place has a unique atmosphere. The last rest stops are boasting with marvellous sceneries: Nipasen kota (13 km) and Taukotupa (14 km) are situated on top of the Tahko hill.
