Fjällräven Classic
Back in the 1970s, Fjällräven's founder Åke Nordin invited a group to test his new functional outdoor clothing and equipment while enjoying the Swedish outdoors – the origin of the well-known hiking event Fjällräven Classic. At first, the event was held only in northern Sweden, but over time, the idea matured to meet the needs of the ever-growing international trekking community. Now, this epic event takes place all over the world.

The concept is the same everywhere: participants are on their own or in small groups with their own tents, sleeping bags, stoves, etc. on a set route. They pass several checkpoints where they get help, medical care if needed and a nice chat. Each participant is encouraged to leave their campsite exactly like they found it – if not in even better condition. The point is to be as mindful as possible in nature, to share experiences and enrich each other.
