The forests and bogs of Teerisuo-Lososuo's wilderness, a very scenic area, form an intact balanced whole. The area is located on the border of the distribution areas of southern and northern species, that is why the flora and fauna of the area is diverse.
The 11.5 km long hiking trail, which runs through the flat terrain of the area, takes you alternately to the swamp and to primeval forest islands. In the spring, nature awakens in the swamp, in the summer you can feel the heat of the swamp, in autumn the handsome colors of the swamp glow in all shades of green, red and yellow and in winter the smooth layer of snow invites you for a ski tour.
In addition to the marked route, it is possible to move around freely in the mire protection area, but especially during spring and early summer, please do not leave the trail in order to avoid disturbance of nesting birds.
The mire conservation area has something to offer to everyone.
