Sofiero Palace
Originally Sofiero was a beautiful country estate acquired by Crown Prince Oskar and his wife Sophia of Nassau in the middle of the 19th century. Until 1876, the appearance of the building went under several changes.
At the turn of the century, the castle became the property of the future King Gustav VI Adolf, who began to plant the large rhododendron garden for which Sofiero is still famous today.
