St. Olav -paddling
On this pilgrimpaddling you will experience a perfect balance between cultural enlightmentand mindfullness in the kayak on the sea. Some of the islands are inhabited all year around and there the daily arrival of the ferry is one of the longwaited happenings. Yourguide will show you the most interesting places, which you get your own time to explore.
On the main islands we can refill our supplies with fresh water and maybe even recentlycaught fish. For some an icecold beverage from the village-shop might be tempting on awarm summerday.
The tours are performed safely according to the group‘s and the weather‘s conditions. Wemight use the connection ferries to pass open seapassages, if the weather requires it. Accomodationin 2-person-tents on the wild islands. The trip suits to beginners till experienced paddlers. Basic fitness.

Itinerary:
After choosing the right paddle equipment for each we start our trip into the beautiful archipelagofrom the main island Nagu.On a typical day we will pack our kayaks after breakfast and paddle about 20 km a day,starting at 10 am and arriving to our next nightcamp around 5 pm. Then there will be time to erect our tents, prepare dinner and explore the island. During the day we will have lunchand stretch our legs on shorter landbreaks. The guide will show you some of the historicalplaces along your journey and tell you about peoples life in the archipelago. On the last daywe arrive to Kökar island, where you will receive your luggage to continue your own journey.

Public transport
Turku is easily reached from Helsinki, Tampere and the rest of Finland by both bus www.matkahuolto.fi and train www.vr.fi. There are even direct busses from Helsinki airport. Turku (TKU) has an international airport with direct flights and onward connections to a wide variety of destinations.
Four daily sailings connect Turku with Stockholm and the Åland islands. The operators are Vikingline and TallinkSilja. Turku has an international airport.
A regular bus service travels along the main archipelago road between Turku, Pargas, Nagu and Korpo. Buses 901 - 904 http://tlo.fi/reitit-ja-aikataulut/saaristobussi/
To make a round trip to Turku you can return with the tourist ferry from Nagu to Turku http://vitharun.fi/en/timetables/turku-seili-nagu/ or take the bus.
